INDUSTRY TRENDS

Dave Nemeth is a qualified designer and been in the design industry for the past 20 years, playing a variety of diverse roles. From furniture buying for blue chip companies to trend forecasting and executive roles to designing furniture and interiors. He is also an experienced photographer whom has had solo exhibitions as well as shot both models and art photography around the world. He is recognised as one of the leaders in trend forecasting in South Africa and presents the IIDNemeth trend report annually in all major cities of South Africa and contributes to a host of printed and online publications. He has just released a full colour hard-cover book of the 2013 trends, which is a first for South Africa in this format.

He is exceptionally well travelled and done in excess of 150 international flights over the past 7 years. He is passionate about design, photography and retail. He is a firm believer in doing things differently and believe it is no longer good enough to simply "think out the box".

He lives with his wife and children in Johannesburg, South Africa.
